The first quarter of 2025 has been buzzing here at Wisemans Retreat, and we’ve loved every minute of it.
Here’s a little look back at what’s been happening — and a little hint for you to start planning your own unforgettable event with us.
January Recap
With the school holidays in full swing, we welcomed families, explorers, and couples for riverfront getaways.
Conference bookings didn’t slow down either, we hosted three, including two boardroom-style meetings and one full retreat buyout.
A weekend mother-daughter group property buyout was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do, it was all about connection and memory-making!
February in Full Swing
February was a big one!
We hosted four multi-day full-property buyouts, from corporate retreats (complete with sunset BBQs by the river) to self-catered social escapes.
With 14 events in total, the retreat was alive with laughter, ideas, and shared meals.
Our commercial kitchen and restaurant space can serve up to 100 guests, plus there's plenty of outdoor room to spread out and enjoy.
March Milestones
We celebrated our first wedding since relaunching!
A stunning, intimate riverside ceremony followed by a 3-course lunch in the Riverbend Hall.
Alongside that, 12 unique events rounded out the month, showing just how flexible and versatile our space truly is.
Looking Ahead
As we step into autumn, we’re already gearing up for a 10-day buyout, with more events lining up quickly.
